Class Experience

Lessons and learning goals are based on learner strengths and weaknesses.
I’m an early childhood educator. I have Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and my Professional License for teaching pre-school through third grade. I have 26 years experience as an educator. I have taught kindergarten, as well as first, second, and third grades in Public School, with experience working with all age groups. As a classroom teacher, I have been trained in various reading programs and the implementation of many literacy assessments. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham-based instruction and Dyscalculia remediation for all age groups. I also have the Massachusetts Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement. In 2014, I branched out independently providing individual academic support to students ranging from kindergarten to 6th grade in phonemic awareness, reading comprehension and fluency, writing, and math fluency, Orton-Gillingham based instruction and Dyscalculia Remediation.
