In this weekly ongoing Dutch Storytime, Juf Rosanne will read 1-2 Dutch children's books, teach the children some new Dutch vocabulary each week and sing some Dutch songs. This class is open to all levels of Dutch: non-speakers to natives.
Class experience
In this weekly ongoing Dutch storytime, Juf Rosanne will read 1-2 Dutch storybooks and teach the children new Dutch words. She will also sing classic Dutch nursery rhymes and teach them the hand gestures that go along with it. This class is designed for those who speak very little Dutch or no Dutch at all. However, Dutch speaking children are very welcome to attend. The class will be hosted in English, but stories, songs and new vocabulary will all be in Dutch. The stories will be read live,...

Juf Rosanne has been working with children for over 17 years now. She is a native Dutch speaker, born and raised in the Netherlands. She has been teaching at the Dutch School of Southern California for 8 years. She has taught both native Dutch speakers and Dutch as a second language to a variety of ages and will bring this experience with her to class.
