This class is for learners who need to learn or get help with becoming skilled at playing Dungeons & Dragons. Dungeons & Dragons is an interactive and collaborative storytelling game. Most of the world will be in the players' imagination, with the Dungeon Master (DM) describing and building the setting for them. Some maps and images may be used to assist in creating the world. Dungeons & Dragons is a great tool for building socialization and problem-solving skills since party members must work together and with non-playable characters to achieve goals and make decisions. For this private tutoring sessions, the learner will get help getting up-to-speed on Fifth Edition rules and mechanics, as well as character-specific questions. If the learner needs help with creating a character backstory, playing and understanding their character's actions, or just wants a refresher on rules before joining a game, then this is the perfect way to do so.

Learners might want to purchase 7 polyhedral dice, a player's handbook, and/or have access to DND Beyond.

Hello! My name is Brittany Badertscher and I love the arts. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (minor in English), and I have been actively working in the theatre space for over a decade. I also have tons of experience in marketing and sales, having worked previously in a marketing role for four years at a tech company.
