Adventurers! Welcome to D&D:S&T - where we sit with fellow fans of Dungeons & Dragons and show off our Favorite Characters. Got art? Show us. Got a great back-story? Tell us. Got turned into a newt by an evil wizard because you tried to steal a magic scroll while he was sleeping!? ...well, d-don’t do that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Take some time to speak with other players and pull creative inspiration from their ideas as well! General class structure: Introductions: - Name - How long have you been playing D&D? - What Edition do you play? Classroom Norms: - Raising your hand, claw or other appendage... - Taking turns speaking - We must all participate via a thumbs up, thumbs down, emoji, magic spell, or verbally Warm-up: - The teacher will demonstrate a ‘show’ and tell by showing off one of his Characters and telling a bit about it. - Students may ask questions by raising their hand or sending a message to the teacher. - The Teacher will ask students if they understand the layout of the S&T and answer any last questions. Show & Tell - Students will take turns talking about 1 of their Characters: it can be any Character from any Edition - alive, undead or polymorphed...whatever - we want to hear about it! - Students can repeat Characters if they attend the classes multiple times OR bring a new one each time! - Students will take turns asking their questions to the sharing Student - or they can message the Teacher to ask on their behalf. - Students are encouraged to ask questions about each other's characters as well as their own - maybe you’re looking for creative suggestions on how to continue developing it...here is where you ask! - The Teacher will likely have some interesting questions of his own! Wrap Up: We’ll wrap up any last questions or comments and wish eachother a safe journey until next time!
