In this student led Dungeons & Dragons course we will cover such academic subjects as understanding mythology from the view point of those living through it, how history can effect the present, how geographical locations can effect the evolution of cultures, ecology, ethics, creative storytelling and much The world that has been built for this game, was made to help the students have discussions with their peers as they plan to solve a myriad of trials in the narrative of our game....
Students will learn the basics of Dungeons & Dragons. Through the lens of play, we will explore topics like cooperation, social justice, friendship, geography, history and critical thinking.
Their will be action and harrowing circumstances. The choices the players make will have consequences. Violence will be part of the game but not glorified.
