Dungeons & Dragons: Keys From the Golden Vault (a Monthly Ongoing Adventure)
What's included
1 live meeting
4 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
It is important to build imagination, teamwork and story-building skills. Dungeons and Dragons is a perfect setting to practice all three. Each session is an adventure that is stand alone. This means that players will be able to come and go throughout the campaign as their schedule allows without missing any crucial details. At the beginning of each session we will fill in the details of the characters' stories between jobs. The players start each session at their base of operations and along the way will get to meet a supporting cast of allies. When players join this ongoing campaign, they will be led to dndbeyond to create a character and will work with the Game Master (GM) to ensure that their level matches the heist's level. Players also have the ability to confer with the GM between sessions regarding questions on the game itself or to discuss their character. With the classroom page, players can also communicate among the group of players between sessions if they choose. The GM will bring the story to life with Foundry Virtual Tabletop where the players will be able to interact and move around the world. March 25th: The Murkmire Malevolence (Level 1) April 29th: The Stygian Gambit (Level 2) May 27th: Prisoner 13 (Level 4) June 24th: Reach for the Stars (Level 4) July 29th: Tockworth’s Clockworks (Level 5) August 26th: Masterpiece Imbroglio (Level 5) September 30th: Axe from the Grave (Level 6) October 21st: Vidorant’s Vault (Level 7) The campaign is meant to be a fun experience practicing social skills that players can take with them into the future. To ensure that it is a safe place for all players the GM will be adhering to additional guidelines (along with the general Outschool rules): - Be respectful of your fellow players and the game master (GM) - Keep your actions for your character appropriate for your age group - Listen to each other - Don't be angry if your character dies - we can create a new one! (Although my recommendation is not to die in the first place) - Do not argue with the GM

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! am a scientist and adventurer. I have a Masters degree in Animal Science with minors in Chemistry and Fish & Wildlife. I started my journey investigating sheep and goats, went on to study shrimp and zooplankton, and have many years of experience teaching STEM to students from preschool up to college.
The classes that I am currently teaching cover Food Science, Animal Science, Ichthyology, STEM experiments, and Women in STEM.
All my classes are anchored in exciting themes such as "Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse through STEM", "Interesting Animals from A to Z", and "Microscopic Adventures!". I generally have a short presentation which I try to keep 5-10 minutes long with the rest of the class time working with hands on learning. I create all my own high-quality material that your students will enjoy engaging with. My classroom is inclusive to all.
Interesting facts about myself:
1) I am an identical twin.
2) I have studied seabirds in Antarctica.
