In this 4 Lesson Self-Paced class, we'll create our own complete, original Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and learn everything you need to know to run them as Dungeon Master with friends and family. Beginner DMs will learn everything they need to know via Lesson Videos provided by the instructor, a seasoned DM. Even veteran DMs will enjoy creating their own original campaign and sharing ideas with other students and the instructor. 

The plan for making our original campaigns is: 

Lesson 1: Create the storyline for your campaign: plot and characters 

Lesson 2: Crafting encounters: monster battles, puzzles, side quests, and more! 

Lesson 3: Worldbuilding: creating the world of your campaign with maps and "theater of the mind"

Lesson 4: How to DM your campaign: lead a character creation session, roleplay NPCs (non-player characters), manage combat, and consult D&D resources on the fly

Then, go DM your campaign with friends and family!

This is a Self-Paced class with no live meetings. Each of the 4 Lessons includes a pre-recorded Lesson Video (plus an Optional Worksheet for comprehension) with accompanying Discussion posts, where students will do activities and engage in a back-and-forth with the teacher. For example, students will develop and share their original campaigns. 

Students are also welcome to message me or arrange Q&A or live "office hours" for additional support for their campaigns.
