Description
Class Experience
After this class, the learner should have a solid introduction to some of the challenges and responsibilities they will have in taking up the DM role. I will prepare them to start out on the right foot of their first DM'd game.
I've been playing D&D for 40 years and spent most of it as a Dungeon Master. I've played with all different ages and styles from the 1st Edition of D&D to now, the 5th Edition. I have a solid foundation of knowledge of the game and good storytelling skills and think I present them in a way that anyone can understand.
Many resources and directions to outside material will be given to inspire further research and investigation. There is a huge amount out there and I will provide the best resources I have found to help newer and experienced players alike.
4 files available upon enrollmentI will attach some general information files, an example character sheet, a map and a rules quick reference sheet. These are free and should be reviewed before class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
