Week of 4/22: Overview of classes and species, head sketching exercise

Week of 4/29: Character sheets

Week of 5/6: Detailed head portrait

Week of 5/13: Characters within scenes
Learning Goals
Character Design: 
Students will learn how to conceptualize and design their own original characters inspired by the diverse races and classes found in Dungeons & Dragons. They will explore character traits, personalities, and visual characteristics to create unique and memorable characters.

Creature Anatomy and Visualization: 
Students will develop an understanding of creature anatomy and how to visualize fantastical creatures commonly found in Dungeons & Dragons, such as dragons, goblins, and beholders. They will learn how to break down complex forms into basic shapes and add detail to bring these creatures to life on paper.

Composition and Storytelling: 
Students will learn the principles of composition and storytelling in art, applying techniques such as framing, perspective, and focal points to create dynamic and engaging scenes inspired by Dungeons & Dragons adventures.
