Dungeons & Dragons (5e): Creating Your First Character & Getting Started!
Class experience
In this one-time, 75-minute class, students will create a character that they can use to play in campaigns of Dungeons and Dragons (5e), while also learning more about the game! By the end of our class, students will have a completed, level one character sheet for Dungeons and Dragons fifth edition. Students will have a basic understanding of the game and will be ready to start playing.
I have loved Dungeons & Dragons since I was young, participating in dozens of campaigns either as a player, "Dungeon Master," or both--so I have almost two decades of experience! I'm excited to be able to share my passions of D&D and storytelling with your learner(s)!
2 files available upon enrollment- Copy of the Player's Handbook 5th Edition--either a physical book or the PDF (attached in the classroom) - Blank, Printed Character Sheet (5e--this will also be attached in the classroom to print before class) - Set of Tabletop Dice OR a Dice Rolling App - Pencil and Notepaper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I'm Mr. Kendric and I'm excited to be your next (or first) Dungeon Master! My classes are all about Dungeons and Dragons. I have loved the game since I was young, participating in dozens of campaigns either as a player, "DM," or both! I believe...
