Class Experience

Students will practice the many skills that Dungeons and Dragons hones - creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, public speaking, and the ability to perform quick mental math calculations.
Tomb of Annihilation is a great campaign for experienced D&D players who would like more of a challenge than the average adventure. This ongoing class will allow students to form more long-lasting friendships if they stick with the campaign long-term. I've run Tomb of Annihilation before - it's one of my favorites!

I will provide students with the Players Basic Rules and blank character sheets. If students do not have dice, they may use an online dice roller. They should also have a pencil and paper to use during class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This campaign does involve D&D combat, which is verbally described. Weapons, armor, and combat damage will be mentioned. There is a very high possibility that a student's character might die during the adventure.
