In this ongoing class we will move through a classic Dungeons and Dragons Game with a science fiction twist. This is an ongoing class so students can enter and leave the game at any time.  

Each week we will be playing the game Dungeon and Dragons. 

This is an ongoing class so students can join the game at anytime. New players to the game are welcome.  

Students will need to know the basic rules of the game and they will have access to all of my Dungeons and Dragons Materials on DnD Beyond.
Students are encouraged but not required to have a DnD Beyond account and the free Google Chrome extension  for AboveVTT which will allow them to see the maps and to role dice on the screen. 
Students who do not wish to use these resources may still play by using  a character sheet that they can print out from home.
 
 Please have your character sheet filled out with the correct level character for your session before class starts.  Please contact the teacher before your first class to find out what level character you will need for your session. 
  Please be aware that some students have played the game for the whole story and might have a higher character level in the chapter than the starting level.   

Students will work on social and problem solving skills during game play. Students can use characters from other adventures but will need to check what level character to use before their first class. Please contact the teacher with any questions.

The  adventure we will be playing is  a classic Dungeon exploration game.  Student will play the adventure Spelljammer Academy and Light of Xaryxis. Students will be fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and earning treasures.  This will earn them experience points that they  can then use the experience points to level up the character they are playing.


 Week of 10/31-11/5:  Orientation- Complete the activities and deliver a mysterious box.
 Week of 11/7-11/12: Trail by Fire - Students will complete a salvage operation and find a traitor!
Week of 11/14-11/19:  Realmspace Exploration- Capture an enemy ship
 Week of 11/21-11/26:  Asteroid location -Find and retrieve a mysterious asteroid.
