2 in-class hours per weekHomework
1 hour per week. Players will occasionally need to level up their characters between sessions.Class Experience
There is a gap in your memory, several years where you can't recall what you did, nor find anyone else who knows. Until one day you meet several others who are missing several years as well, and though none of you remember, perhaps adventuring across the arid sands and shimmering seas of the Southern Isles together will help you find what has been lost. We will be playing a handcrafted, exploration based, D&D adventure where the players will decide as a group the stories they would like to follow. There is an overarching story about trying to find lost memories, but the players are free to chose where they explore as they pursue this quest. The theme of this campaign is discovery. Players who join on the first session will start at level 1, and players who join as the campaign goes on will join at the party's current level. This class is driven by the players. Each week the party will choose as a group where they go and follow the adventures that they find most exciting or interesting while pursuing their missing memories. Players may jump in or out at anytime, and new players are always welcome.
Learning Goals
Students will use problem solving, teamwork, and creativity to overcome challenges. As well as co-operation and communication as they decide the type of adventures they go on.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi everyone!
My name is Steven Mugnani Hallet, but you can just call me Mr. Steve.
I teach classes on Dungeons & Dragons, where you can learn to play, how to make your own campaign, or just play in one.
I have been working with children of all ages and backgrounds for over fifteen years. I have a bachelors in child psychology and am currently working as a para-educator in an elementary school. I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons since I was young, and running my own games since I graduated high school in 2007.
I believe that children learn in many different ways, and the co-operative story telling and imaginative play of Dungeons & Dragons provides a fun and interactive way for children to utilize logic, creativity and teamwork.
In addition to Dungeons & Dragons I love to read, write, hike and play all sorts of games.
I look forward to meeting you all!
~ Mr. Steve
