The learning goals for our D&D New Player Camp at Guild of Imagination are designed to engage and empower young adventurers through the captivating realm of role-playing. Over the course of the camp, participants will aim to develop foundational skills in tabletop gaming, including understanding game mechanics and character development. Additionally, the camp emphasizes enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive puzzles and strategic combat scenarios. We also focus on encouraging social skills such as teamwork, communication, and empathy, as players collaborate with peers to navigate challenges and craft their shared narrative. By the end of the camp, learners will not only have a solid grasp of how to play Dungeons & Dragons but also gain valuable life skills that extend beyond the game table.
