Description
Class Experience
This ongoing Dungeons and Dragons adventure highlights the new D&D content from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, combined with multiple settings like Eberron, Ravnica, Ravenloft, Greyhawk, and Dark Sun. When a dragon that the learners' characters are friends with comes to them for help, they'll have to travel through magical portals to distant realms and search for the dragon's echoes, one of which has become a dracolich. This is an ongoing class, which means that students can drop in and out...
This class is taught in English.
In addition to the hundreds of students I've taught on Outschool, I've also led several in-person seminars teaching Dungeons and Dragons to new players. I've been playing roleplaying games since I was a teenager. Now as a veteran homeschool parent, I blend my years of experience encouraging young people with my love of Dungeons and Dragons. I love providing a welcoming and affirming safe space for all of my students to relax and enjoy social time with others. I especially enjoy gently encouraging shy learners to come out of their shell. I am adept at keeping a balance between enthusiastic, outgoing students and quieter students who may prefer more structure with prompting to engage in the game.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This campaign does involve D&D combat, which is verbally described. Weapons, armor, and combat damage will be mentioned.
Players Basic Rules and character sheets in PDF form. No purchases are necessary.
