Parents this class has been set to auto-schedule if you prefer other dates or times Spring Break Camp Discount save $55 off this class: Code:LOTTLWFE055 This class pulls back the curtain or Dungeon Master's screen and teaches young minds what the Dungeon Master does and how they do it, from story creation, world building, encounter designs, creation of monsters and so much more. Learners will see what it looks like from what is normally my side of the table and hopefully gain the confidence to run their own games in their own created worlds. Each week a fundamental of Dungeon Mastering will be discussed and taught by the instructor. There is a lot of material to cover so most of the class will be a lecture-style, and the last part of the class will be questions and answers, as well as assignment of homework.......yep homework, if you want to be a DM it takes work and even in 8 weeks everything can't be covered in class. Some homework will be reading assignments, projects like drawing a small dungeon, or creating a new monster. We have quite a bit to go over. If you are already out there trying your hand at being a Dungeon Master, feel free to post questions about your game and I will give you some guidance. This class is for people that want to be Dungeon Masters, so you should already have knowledge of how to play Dungeons and Dragons as a Player, if not I encourage you to take my Course on "how to Play Dungeons and Dragons" First. I even have a crash course available if you really want to jump in. Week One: What a Dungeon Master is, and what they aren't Week Two: Adventures- Homebrew and Published Week Three: Non-Player Characters and the importance of Social Encounters Week Four: How to create and run a Combat Encounter Week Five: World Building and the Rule of Three Week Six: Breathing life into your world Week Seven: Creating Monsters Week Eight: Pulling it all together
