Students will learn teamwork, collaborative storytelling, improvisation and practice basic math, problem-solving skills, and engage in moral discourse about their actions through the lens of an exciting and engaging game of dungeons and dragons by taking on the roles of monster hunting heroes pitted against an array of cunning demonic foes. No knowledge of Dungeons and Dragons is required. Assistance will be provided as needed on an individual basis. Evaluation, if requested, will be based on how well the students come together to face dynamic, unexpected, situations. Do they know what their characters are capable of? Are they able to work with their fellow students to overcome obstacles? Are they willing to inhabit the roles of their characters and enjoy the fun of improvisation together?
