Description
Class Experience
In this class we will do character creation and then set out on our epic adventure together. First day we will do introductions and character creation then with any extra time we will begin the game. The rest of the days we will continue the game. I can not guaranty that we will finish the full campaign because Dungeons and Dragons is a group story telling game. that means it will depend on what the players choose to do, but we will create a story together that will be remembered for days...
This class is taught in English.
How to make a character, how to play that character, and how to play Dungeons and Dragons.
I have played Dungeons and Dragons as a dungeon master for over 6 years.
Any homework will depend on how far the group progresses in the game. If we level up then I may give homework to add any level up information to your character before our next game so that we can be ready to play the next day.
You will need to have a DnDbeyond account. This is a website created by the same people that make dungeons and dragons for creating characters. You can make a free account to use. On the first day I will share the link that will give you accesses to the rule books and let you use them for the length of the game. There is also a dice roller that you can use.
9 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using DnDbeyond. This is a website that is used to help make and keep track of your DnD character sheet. Students can make a free account and it allows me to give the students access to all of the books I have online to help them make there characters. I will also be using roll20 via screen share. This is a virtual table top for helping the students see where there characters are on a map.
Required: A free account with dndbeyond. This site will let me give you access to the rule books and character creator along with having a dice roller function.
