This class is the class to take for those students that want to better understand what DND or Dungeons and Dragons is all about and create a character to become and take on their first adventure The course will be interactive, fun and informative. We will cover races, classes, species to help give them ideas for their next step of character creation We will cover the basic overview mechanics of 5E We will learn how to use the various dice and Modifiers This is the class you should take before starting any of the adventures if you have never played DND D&D Classroom Rules By signing up for this class/D&D campaign you agree to the rules. Any rule breaking can result in learners getting put into the waiting room to reread the rules. These rules are in addition to all Outschool rules. Mission Statement: This is a cooperative RPG. Success is not determined by an individual feat but rather the group as a whole. Be respectful to your party members Don’t argue with the DM Don’t argue if your character dies Do not kill fellow members or purposely create scenarios that will “accidentally” kill your members Keep your actions of your character appropriate for your age group Don’t steal from the other members Try to resurrect members of your party who have died Listen to each other Don’t lie about your rolls Be friendly and Have Fun
