Description
Class Experience
Due to the vastness of options in Dungeons and Dragons, students will learn and exercise many skills, including the following: -storytelling -critical thinking -teamwork -problem solving -conflict resolution -resolutions of ethical and moral dilemmas -math and reading fluency
I have spent much time playing in and running Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. I also have much experience teaching D&D to new players. As far as teaching children goes, I've spent over a decade teaching ages 8-18 in the classroom and have served in many roles from Master Teacher to Curriculum Developer to Network Trainer to Academy Headmaster (all with Great Hearts Academies).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
