A common theme in D&D is good versus evil, combat sequences, use of weapons, and monsters. This isn't described in disturbing detail and these classes are all monitored by the instructor. DND Beyond (free account required) will be used in this course if your student would like to learn how to create a digital character sheet for Dungeons & Dragons 5e. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. Your student can create a completely hand-written character sheet with instruction during this course as well. Hashtag Gameschool is a recommended website resource for your student when building a handwritten character sheet. It breaks down the species and class concepts into consumable bites for new players to understand easier. There is no account required to use this website.
We will reference The Dungeon Master's Guide, DnD Beyond, and Hashtag Gameschool
