Beginner - Intermediate Level
Budding artists will learn how to use their digital camera with weekly lessons in a small group to expand their photography skills. Learning the best way to use a digital camera will improve any photographer's photo. This class will cover the basics of how to use a digital camera and it's settings such as Shutter Speed, ISO, Aperture and much more. Learning file size/type, white balance and shooting modes will expand your photography skills. Learners will have plenty of time to ask questions and share pictures with different settings they have learned in class. Learners will need to bring their digital camera to class with a fully charged battery. If the camera needs a memory card or other accessories to function in full user mode, please be sure to bring that to class as well. Classes will have student led weekly topics and discussion on basic skills and settings of their digital camera. This class is inclusive and everyone is welcome. Learners need to check in on camera per the Outschool policy.

Teacher expertise and credentials
The teacher has a degree in early and secondary education from Texas Christian University and 20 plus years of teaching learners of all ages. She's been teaching in the homeschool community for 15 years and has worked in many co-ops with learners of all ages as well.
