In this ongoing class, beginning drum students will learn the basics to launch their playing.
Class Experience
This could be used as a follow up course for “Learn To Set up And Play.” In this ongoing course, students will learn basic beginning patterns. These patterns will consist of basic rock beats popular in today’s music. Along with these, there will also be a series of hand and foot combination patterns used to gain basic mobility around the drums. - Students will learn posture and seating. Proper grip and technique. Basic drum beats and fills used in popular music and good practice habits.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Must have their own drums and sticks. Grooves, lesson plans ect will be supplied via pdf.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
