Class Experience
There are 40 Essential Rudiments in drumming vocabulary. Each week we'll dissect one rudiment on the list, discussing its importance in muscle development, coordination, its relationship to other rudiments, and possible uses for drum set. Each class is full on playing! Be ready to dive in and explore the rudiments in a fun and engaging group setting! Students will improve their muscle, endurance, coordination, and even reading skills. Frequency: includedDetails: Students will get a grid of all rudiments and tempo ranges. Personal development is assessed through increased tempo on the grid, as well as overall sound (tone), tempo control, and grip.
1 file available upon enrollmentRudiment grid is provided. At minimum, each student should have a practice pad and a pair of sticks. While a drum set is a valuable asset, it is not essential for this class.
