This is an Unofficial class by Melissa Robb and based on the sourcebook from Druidawn® 1.0. Druidawn® is an interactive role playing game that uses creative writing and problem solving to overcome obstacles in a group setting. The overlords keep Druidawn® safe but many are on the evil side of morality. Jailora, Raytor, Riann and Vanderis are varying degrees of less-than-friendly. Kindness is not a word you would hear in relation to these powerful leaders. Learn more about these...
I first experienced Druidawn® as a participant alongside my son. We quickly became enamored with the adventures and with leveling up our beloved characters. Soon I was having fun teaching Druidawn® myself, leading classes through mythical and magical lands. I have been been using Legends of Druidawn® to encourage students to write for many years. Words are currency in Druidawn®. Kids don't HAVE to write, they will WANT to write!
Homework: An optional homework assignment will be provided a few days prior to the class via the classroom. Students can put in as little or as much time as they choose. Their characters will benefit from their efforts.
Please bring the optional homework which will be posted in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Grading: I do not grade this class but I am happy to chat individually with parents that want to work together to determine a final grade for the class if that is important to them.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
