Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to complete algorithms for solving pre-algebra and algebra problems. Students will improve in number sense and algebraic thinking and learn why the algorithms work. Students will build confidence in math.
Master's degree in education (M.Ed.) Classroom teaching experience including core subject areas of math, pre-algebra, algebra. Over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring. One on one tutoring experience with students struggling with pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry/trigonometry. One on one experience providing enrichment for advanced students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
After the session, parents will receive an individualized message about topics covered and next steps for their student.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
