This class will teach learners about USA road rules and how to be a safe driver. Topics include safe driving practices, right of way, traffic signals, pavement markings, and driving obstacles. 4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Safe Driving Practices/RIght of WayLearners will learn safe ways of driving in many situations. Learners will also learn the Right of Way at stop signs, on ramps, roundabouts, on the road, at an intersection etc.Week 2Lesson 2Driving In WeatherLearners will learn the safe practices to driving in snow, rain, ice and at night. This lesson covers increased travelling distance, slower breaking, avoiding hydroplaning etc.Week 3Lesson 3Traffic SignalsLearners will experience the different types of traffic lights and each of their meanings. This lesson covers turning on red, flashing yellow, flashing red, lane control lights, toll booth/EZ pass, etc.Week 4Lesson 4Road HazardsLearners will experience different hazards on the road and how to navigate through or around them. This lesson covers wrong way drivers, objects (including animals) in the roadway, etc.
