Dream 105-The Currency of Time (Ages 11-14)

Time is used as a currency to by one’s life. Each person is given the same 1,440 minutes each day. It is how one spends those minutes that make all the difference. Through this class students (Dreamers) will come to understand that whatever they spend their time doing, they become. The person who spends their time taking classes to become a nurse will more than likely become a nurse. On the other hand, a person who spends most of their time aimlessly sitting around the house, with no good use of their time, is a house sitter and that needs to be recognized. In this class, students will earn how to critically think about how they are using their time. As well, we will cover basic time management skills and activities. 

About the D.R.E.A.M. (D.R.E.A.M. Do Right Each Audacious Minute) Series

The D.R.E.A.M. classes are a series of one-time classes for ages 11-14 designed to help students not only achieve their goals but understand the roadblocks that can occur from either within or from outside themselves. Critical thinking is a key element in all D.R.E.A.M. classes.

The D.R.E.A.M. (D.R.E.A.M. Do Right Each Audacious Minute) classes can be taken in any order. Currently, there are eight classes in the series:

Dream 102--Who are you?
Dream 103--Are They for Real?
Dream 104--Persistence without Exception
Dream 105--The Currency of Time
Dream 106--F.E.A.R. (Face Everything and Rise)
Dream 107--The Art & Science of Discipline
Dream 108--The Power of You!
