Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to trace coins for accurate and precise circles and curves in their drawings. Students will learn to use a q-tip to create soft smooth blending with a pencil.
I am a Licensed K - 12 Visual Arts Teacher. I have been in public education & working in the visual arts field for over 18 years.
No homework.
6” x 9” (or larger) piece of watercolor paper Regular Pencil (NOT a mechanical pencil) & Eraser Coins, 1 of each (quarter, dime, nickel, and penny) 1 Q-tip Non-Permanent Markers (preferably Crayola brand). Basic pack of 8 or 10. Small paint brush. Cup of water. Paper towel.
Informal Visual Assessment: Students will get a chance to share and discuss his or her artwork at the end of the lesson.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
