Homework
1 hour per week. Homework is optional: Sketch on your own with the new technique and complete a three question written reflection. It is also recommended to review the anatomical drawing with labels after class with your family. During class, learners will be completing individual work, but sharing as a group.

Beginner Level
I will be teaching skeletal anatomy and vocabulary while growing the skill to draw animals like cats and dogs. Topics covered will be the basics of canine anatomy and physiology, the scientific skeletal terms, and a drawing technique that enhances the realism of  drawings of  dogs. 
The class structure and times are a 7 minute lecture introduction to anatomical skeleton drawings and vocabulary, 18 minute follow-along drawing tutorial using skeleton vocabulary lesson with slides, 10 minutes of individualized guided practice that use breakout rooms, 10 minutes of share practice where they can ask questions and offer suggestions to peers while drawing, 5 minutes of share circle where everyone will show work and talk about it, and 5 minutes of an introduction to self reflection with the optional homework to write a reflection after they have worked on their art individually.
