In this ongoing class, we will combine zoology with art. Students will learn fun facts about a variety of odd and rarely-seen animals and follow step-by-step instructions to create a colorful sketch of each one.

This class is a unique mix of zoology and art, merging the study of unusual animals with instruction in how to draw these animals and the physical characteristics that make them so extraordinary. A printable worksheet will be provided by the teacher. Students will complete the worksheet in class. Space will be provided on the worksheet for students to then draw a picture of the featured animal for that class. Students will need a set of at least 12 colored pencils.
