Contours, Clothing, & Contrast
An introduction to refining the sketch (making it neater, adding clothing and shading).
We will practice drawing proportionate human figures in still and action poses, adding clothing, and shading. Our goal is to become more familiar with human proportions, and more comfortable applying them to our drawings.
Figure drawing is my favorite art discipline! I have years of experience creating my own drawings and sculptures, using the human form as inspiration, and I always brought my enjoyment and expertise to my students when we created figurative artworks. I have taught figure drawing to elementary, junior high, and high school age students for over a decade, and look forward to meeting more young artists who want to learn this skill!
Homework Offered
Students will experience the most growth if techniques are practiced daily.

Please feel free to address concerns with me beforehand, and I will take your student's needs into consideration.
