Class Experience
Students will learn how to use guidelines to draw the human face and body, as well as how to use simple shapes and lines to create. Students will repeat drawing faces to get used to the process of drawing a human face so it becomes almost a muscle memory. Students will learn about the importance of line thickness and darkness (line differentiation) in art to create emphasis.
Practice drawing faces and figures in their spare time
Students are REQUIRED to bring to class: Pencil Paper (can be drawing paper, printer paper, or any paper available. Preferably not lined paper, but if that's what they have, that's acceptable) Eraser Black pen Black marker
3 hours 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
