Description
Class Experience
Learners will gain more appreciation towards animals from around the world. Learners will also learn about texture, light and shadow, important shapes, and some anatomy. Learners will have the opportunity to learn and practice applying various drawing techniques.
I graduated from Grand Central Atelier in New York City where I was trained to draw and paint realistically in a traditional way. While I usually draw realistically, I also enjoy using this approach to draw in different styles. My goal is to teach children the tools of drawing and give them the opportunity to practice applying them so that they will be able to draw what they want independently.
Learners may need to finish at home. I know I always needed double the time!
Learners can choose what to use. I will be using pencil and white paper. Be sure to bring: Paper (any color and size) Eraser Sharpener Pencils
Learners will receive guidance evenly throughout the class.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
