Class Experience
Do you find it difficult to draw fur? Would you like to hang out with a group of other learners who love animals like you do? Come join this fun 4-day camp where we'll learn to draw a new animal with different fur each day! DAY 1: Long fur - Sloth DAY 2: Short fur - Horse DAY 3: Medium fur - Red fox DAY 4: Thick fur - Cat Each day includes a step-by-step guide on how to draw that day's animal, starting with the basic geometrical shapes, tips on finding proper proportions, and techniques on...
Students will learn pencil techniques to draw a variety of realistic fur textures. They will improve their observation skills and learn what to look for when drawing fur, so that they can apply their new skills to other animals they might draw in the future. They will learn about shading, contrast, and blending with various tools. They will also learn how to sketch out four different animals using basic geometric shapes, as well as how to get the proportions more accurate.
