In this semester class, art learners will be learning to draw and shade, faces and people. Art learners will also learn easy measuring and shading techniques for a realistic look.

US Grade 8 - 11
Intermediate Level
This seven-week semester class is for beginner, intermediate art learners. All art learners will benefit from learning the measuring tools and shading techniques. I will demonstrate how to draw eyes, nose and mouth then we will be able to put it all together using the measuring tools that I will teach. After art learners learn how to draw each facial feature, they will be able to use the measuring tools to accurately position each feature. We will then focus on shading to make the face look...
Art learners will learn how to draw in detail each feature on our face. They will learn how to put a face together with shading to add depth and look real. They will also learn how to measure to line up facial features. The second part of class they will learn how to measure, shade and draw a person. When the class is finished, they will be able to draw movements of a person.
I have taught in person art classes for 7 years before coming to Outschool. I have watched many learners take off in their art ability as they have learned the techniques.

Please make sure each learner is in a quiet space and they know how to mute and unmute. How much they get to unmute will depend on how much noise is in background. Please remember that an Outschool requirement is that parents are not in the camera view at any time during class. If you need to assist your learner, please make sure you are not seen on screen while assisting.
