Description
Class Experience
In this 4-week flex class, learners will learn about and draw 8 ocean animals. We will compile our 8 illustrations into an "aquarium" portfolio. Students will name their aquarium, create an optional cover for their aquarium, and share it with our class group. Students will develop their spatial awareness and artistic confidence by following the directed drawing instructions. By creating a cumulative keepsake with their work, students will take pride in their creation and hopefully feel...
Students will learn to draw 8 animals, create a keepsake portfolio of their work, and engage in written discussion with fellow learners.
Students will complete two directed drawings a week, as well as engage in class discussions and feedback. At the end of the class, students will record and upload a video presentation where the show the class their aquarium and describe their pictures.
Students will need the following materials: For drawings: White copy paper, pencil, black marker, and something to color with; crayons, markers, colored pencils and/or paint. For aquarium book: Small binder with cover sleeve and 8 clear page protectors OR presentation binder with space for 8 pages.
