We will begin class with introductions, then we'll start the focus of the lesson, drawing a monster truck. We use a simple method that utilizes basic shapes. Students will then decide what they want to add to the background and then finish the class with adding color. Throughout the class, each student will be asked to share about themselves and their drawing to ensure that they get plenty of interaction during the class. While drawing the monster truck is done by following a directed drawing method, the students will be encouraged to make their drawing unique and personal to them.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their development of fine motor skills drawing/coloring skills.
