Monarch butterflies are beautiful, incredible creatures. In this class, we will learn all about what makes them so incredible (covering facts about their life cycle, migration, diet, body parts, predators, threats). We will discuss conversation efforts and what we can do to help monarchs. After learning about monarchs, we will draw one of our own! Learners will follow along a step-by-step drawing tutorial. We will discuss facts about the monarch as we draw/color. Each learner will have the opportunity to read a monarch fact and share their drawing with the class. I love monarchs so much, and I'm looking forward to teaching your learner about why they are so magical! Materials Needed: Paper (Cardstock Recommended) Pencil and Eraser (Please sharpen pencil/colored pencils before class) Colored Pencils and/or Crayons (Orange and yellow shades, black, white, green, various colors for flowers) Black Sharpie (Optional)
