In this course, students will be introduced to the five elements of shape in order to draw simple to complex figures. Students will be shown how to look at images in a new way based on the elements of shape. Students will create a piece of art using shapes and textures. Students will be introduced to complementary colors, triadic colors, and analogous color combinations. Students will be able to express their creativity in a relaxed non-judgemental environment. Students can choose if they want to share their artwork or not.

Supply List
Materials: Please print the two warm up sheets in the Welcome Post. 4 sheets blank 8x11 paper or larger (can be printer paper) Black "Sharpie" or similar brand permanent marker Additional markers of varying colors (can be Crayola, Mr. Sketch, anything available)
