Students will learn how to sketch a great blue toraco and develop the sketch into a realistic drawing with shading and blending techniques of colored pencils.
Class experience
Birds have been used in art for a long time to deliver a passage from a work of art, especially portraiture. This class is intentionally designed to help students study an animal portrait by sketching with graphite and colored pencils. With colored pencils, students will experiment on techniques of shading in order to turn the sketch into a realistic drawing with a colorful palette .
