In each section of this on-going lesson, students will be showed how to sketch a mythological creature in Chibi style and use colored pencils to complete the work with an inspiration from "The Book of Mythical Beasts and Magical Creatures."
Class experience
Mythological creatures and monsters have been existing in folktales from various countries as a tradition for centuries. In the meantime, those creatures and monsters have become an inspiration for many modern artists, designers, and filmmakers. This class is intentionally designed to help students study a mythical kind of animals by making a sketch of it with pencils.
