In this 8 week course, we will further develop detailed techniques for drawing portions of the human body in a step by step drawing course. Students will learn more about muscle structures, foreshortening and drawing from references.

Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner - Intermediate Level
During this 8 week course, students will working with me on step-by-step drawings of portions of the human body. Every other week we will concentrate on a new portion of the body that typically has shown to be difficult in creating. We will look at the muscle structure as well as reference photos for students to work from. 

Throughout the class, I will be pausing students to check their sketches and make any critiques or adjustments they may need to make.  

Some of the subject that we may observe could involve:
-Static poses, i.e., sitting, sleeping, standing
-In-motion figures, i.e., running, walking, dancing ,etc
-Specific body parts, i.e, hand, arm, face, back, leg, etc. 

**Please note: though these figure will not be nude, we will be drawing models with various styles of clothing, whether that be in a dress or suit, leotard or underwear. If you or your learner have any questions that I can help to clarify, please feel free to reach out. I would be happy to help.

Pre-Requisites
Students should have a basic knowledge of drawing the human body, this will be necessary to sketch the figure(s) we are working on for the class.
