Class experience
Next to faces, hands are the most expressive part of the human body. So why do so many young artists hide hands in pockets and behind objects? When a hand is drawn wrong, we notice. It jumps out at us just like a wrong face does. This creates an aversion to drawing them. So, in this one-time class, I show students a few simple techniques to draw hands in a pleasing way.
