US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Do you have a reluctant writer but a child who loves to draw? Do you have a child that is having difficulty writing their letters correctly? Do you have a child that runs as soon as they see pencil and paper come out? In this once-a-week, 30-minute class, I will walk your child through a directed drawing of something that starts with our letter for that class. I would prefer to not tell our learners what we will be drawing ahead of time as it builds suspense as we learn some fun facts along...
To build confidence in our handwriting and drawing abilities To build our self-esteem by creating a masterpiece week after week It provides children with lots of listening skills practice It provides opportunities to follow directions It provides a way for children to learn to pay attention to the details
I prefer to use a journal or notebook to keep all of their work together but plain paper will work just as well pencils for handwriting and to draw crayons, markers, oil pastels or colored pencils to embellish our work
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
