In this one time class, students will follow a directed drawing to create their own unicorn, alicorn, or pegasus! We will draw step-by-step, and at the end of class, everyone will have a chance to be 'spotlighted' to share their creations and receive individual praise and positive feedback. I tell my students that my creation is just an example of what they can make- they are encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity in this class! They can make any changes or substitutions they want. I will be drawing digitally on the computer, so everyone has a good view of what is being drawn and my hand is not blocking anything. I pace our class based on the students abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how everyone is doing. This is a fun and easy class, so no drawing experience is required!

Hello Families!
My name is Nicole - my students usually call me Ms. Cole. I graduated from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts with a double major in Design Studies - with a focus in 3D modeling and digital fabrication; and the other in Art Studies - with a focus in fashion and studio art.
I have a passion for the arts and really enjoy creating with clay and drawing in my free time. I love teaching fashion, drawing, and art classes; as well as early learning foundations for preschool and pre-k.
I am a multi-certified lead teacher for toddlers, preschool, and pre-k. I taught preschool and pre-k for five years, and I absolutely loved it!
I am a homeschool mom to my amazing daughter who keeps me on my toes and helps me come up with exciting new class ideas all the time.
I can't wait to see you in class!
