1 hour per week. Students will finish coloring their art outside of class time.Class Experience
Class will begin with reading a book and a discussion about different types of farm animals. We will then begin the focus of the lesson, drawing a cow, pig, horse, and sheep using a fun and simple method that utilizes basic shapes. We will add landscape features and finish the class with adding color. Throughout the class, each student will be asked to share about themselves and their drawing to ensure that they get plenty of interaction during the class. While drawing the animals is done by following a directed drawing, the students will be encouraged to make their drawing unique and personal to them.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their development of fine motor skills drawing/coloring skills. Students will learn the vocabulary words landscape and horizon.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that the basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
