"Drawing Dynamic Superheroes: Learn to draw the Art of Spider-Man and Beyond" is an ongoing class designed for aspiring comic book artists, artists and superhero fans. In this class, students will learn the techniques needed to bring their favorite superheroes to life on paper. Students will begin by learning the fundamentals of figure drawing, including anatomy and proportion. They will then progress to learning how to create dynamic poses, facial expressions, and costumes that capture the essence of their favorite characters. In addition to Spider-Man, students will have the opportunity to learn how to draw other beloved superheroes from the Marvel and DC universes, such as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. By the end of the class, students will have a portfolio of dynamic superhero illustrations that they can be proud of. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will provide you with the skills and inspiration you need to create exciting and captivating superhero illustrations. So grab your pencils and let's get started! I’ve had the honor of winning the first-ever Art Battle in San Francisco and contributed illustrations to the award-winning book "One Way to Ask," which earned the prestigious Davinci Award for design. Additionally, I had the privilege of working on the renowned Pakistani Truck Project, featured at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City.My artwork has been exhibited across Kansas, Missouri, and California, reflecting my commitment to creating and sharing art.
Over the years, I’ve taught students ranging from children to seniors, including after-school programs with Young Rembrandts and classes for the older generation through Seniors Creating Art. Whether it's guiding young learners or fostering creativity in adults, I bring a fun, engaging, and enriching experience to every class. Let's create something amazing together!
