1 hour per week. Students will finish coloring their art outside of class time.Class Experience
Class will begin with a book and discussion about different types and names of dinosaurs. We will then begin the focus of the lesson, drawing dinosaurs, using a fun and simple method that utilizes basic shapes. Students will be shown how to draw five dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Pterodactyl. This will be taught using a directed drawing method. We will add landscape features and finish the class with adding color. Please note that students will need time outside of class to finish coloring.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their development of fine motor skills drawing/coloring skills. Students will learn the vocabulary words landscape and horizon. They will also learn several dinosaur names.

Students will need: White paper (larger paper if available) Pencil Eraser Markers, Crayons, or colored pencils Black Sharpie (if available)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
