This drawing class for beginners and intermediate artists is an ongoing class that is great for homeschool learners or anyone who loves art! I will show easy steps and use simple shapes and line to draw animals--it's like making your own cute coloring sheets! Bears, rabbits, elephants, dinosaurs--I will demonstrate how to draw the subjects chosen by students, and give tips on how to color and use value to enhance the drawings. We will do 2 - 3 drawings during our time together, which can vary class to class. Students will be able to see my drawing during the class and be able to follow along step by step. As this is an ongoing class, students can join any week and the material does not build upon previous weeks. The topics are learner-directed so students will be able to vote on what we will draw the following week. We will do one drawing together at a time, step-by-step. Students are encouraged to complete their drawing as they wish, they do not have to follow my drawing directions exactly. They are welcome to ask questions and ask for help, and I will gladly give advice and encouragement as we go. We will share our finished drawings once they are completed. The flow of the class is as follows: Introductions and greetings Students can share a drawing that they did since our last meeting, if they wish Drawing 1 demo Artists can share their finished drawing Drawing 2 demo Artists can share their finished drawing I will take drawing suggestions for the next week and put it to a vote Class ends For a one-time class, check out the listing with a similar title!
